Erith Health services is a company that promotes workplace safety among health workers, provides training and products for health workers and the best care for patients. This project seeks to increase access to personal protective equipment and a full line of medical supplies, with other complimentary products across the length and breadth of the Country and in the Sub-Saharan Africa.

ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

We are looking for a dedicated engagement officer to promote and market company’s Personal
Protective Equipment, provide training and products for health workers and medical supplies to
hospitals, pharmacies and health care professionals.
 
Contractual agreement: Fixed–term appointment
Contract Duration: 6 Months (duration is subject to availability of funds, satisfactory
performance and continuing need for the position).

JOB SUMMARY

  • Directly facilitate institutional/customer/potential customer engagement: pharmacies, hospitals, diagnostic centers etc.
  • Preparing presentation and demonstrating products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat process.
  • Identify potential customer and create initiatives to acquire them.
  • Identify procurement processes and how to get institutions to place orders.
  • Determine key institutional contact person.
  • Receive customers’ orders and forward to distribution team.
  • Know the quality, efficacy and effectiveness of all PPE’s products and recommend them strongly to clients.
  • Make recommendations on how to improve customer experience based on customer feedback.
  • Report on quotations given, orders placed, revenue generated.
  • Undertaking relevant research.
  • Report on best and worst performing products.
  • Train and share up to date information on Covid-19 protocols.
  • Follow up on lead generated by the company.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

A first degree in pharmacy, nursing, marketing, or any other related field from a recognized/accredited institute.
 
Preferred: Postgraduate Certificate or advanced university degree in infection control or Occupational Health and Safety will be an advantage.

Experience

A minimum of five (5) years’ work experience 

Preferred: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in health supplies
 
Skills
  • Good Knowledge and skills in the area of Personal protective Equipment (PPE) and Health Supplies.
  • Good Knowledge and skills in the area of Infectious control.
  • Great marketing skills.
  • Ability to work and achieve goals under pressure.
  • Proven Medical Sales Experience.
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • Effective Communication skills.
  • Persuasive and resilient.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Ensure that organization complies with outside regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and by-laws
  • Work hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risk
  • Have appropriate disciplinary measures in place in the event of a regulatory breach in order to avoid future occurrence
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all relevant decision makers and stakeholders in order to keep all parties informed of regulatory changes.
  • Organizing training sessions for employees in order to efficiently communicate key regulatory changes and updates
  • Ensuring standards through disciplinary policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
  • Oversight of the full product life cycle
  • Ensure the Product development programs are compliant
  • Ensure the product marketing campaigns are compliant
  • Engage in market research in order to identify new opportunities for business across Africa
  • Develop innovative strategies for gaining clients; this includes undertaking interviews in order to get feedback and incorporate it in the growth plan.
  • Establish a knowledge about the business and its development practices, its marketing activities, prospective clients, and the trends for the industry in each country.
  • Supervise database of client relationship management, and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists in Francophone Africa.
  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities in Francophone Countries and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities
  • Create and improve proposals for our new clients.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization, local, and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience

A Bachelor/Doctor of Pharmacy degree, or a degree in any health-related field from a recognized/accredited institute.

 

Preferred: An advanced university degree in Business development and/or regulatory affairs.

Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a medical liaison role, business development and regulatory affairs and experience in Francophone Africa.
